TheRowanTree is a custom built bed and breakfast on the northern side of North Uist in the Outer Hebrides. TheRowanTree offers quality accommodation in relaxing surroundings, with a touch of island hospitality to enhance your stay.

 

Situated in the tranquil township of Sollas, only a few minutes from the stunning Vallay strand and twenty minutes from Lochmaddy ferry terminal, the bed and breakfast provides an excellent base for exploring the Uists whether you are walking, cycling, fishing, birdwatching or island hopping.

Accommodation

We provide bed & breakfast accommodation for people from all walks of life and from around the globe who travel to the Uists and the Outer Hebrides for their holidays.

It is important to us that our guests have a quality experience and enjoy the best of the Uists, whether that’s walking the beaches, exploring the lochs and lochans, observing the wildlife, cycling the length of the islands or tasting local specialities. At TheRowanTree we provide advice on local activities and excursions as well as quality facilities for total comfort during your stay.

We have 2 double rooms and 1 twin/super king size, all with en-suite facilities. Our ground floor double room is suitable for people with reduced mobility.  All rooms include tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, LCD flat screen television, a fridge and a free broadband wireless connection for those who want to browse the internet, check emails or plan the next part of their journey through the islands.
